Welcome to my new page. You might have visited my old page "Ecology of South Florida", I deleted that because I wanted to make some changes, and a whole new better web page. My reason for even posting such a page, is to help make people aware of the importance of the Natural ecological systems in this unique part of the world. A lot of people use the internet, so now I know how to get a good message across. Every winter season, people from all over the world come here by the thousands. The see how nice of an area this is and decide to move here, not even aware of the natural parts of the state. So hence more people moving here, more development. Why do I love the natural areas of Florida? When you take your first look at wildlife, and the Everglades, you can't resist going back. It is a really fun experiance. The land needs conservation though. There are many endangered species of both plants and animals, and the main cause of the decline in population is caused by development. An organization here on the southwestern coast of Florida called the Conservancy of SW Florida, and I are working for some solution without hurting the economy of the area.

Please, respect the wildlife

Do you love helping animals? A good way you can help wild animals, is by not feeding them by hand. This has lead to the cause of many injuries, and deaths. The wildlife are not out to destroy humans, it's just that when a human regularly feeds a wild animal, the animal will associate that person with food. With people feeding alligators, they are taking their lives in their hands. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW to feed alligators in Florida. The same thing happens with alligators as other wildlife, but this time you could lose a limb. The alligator really means no harm. The wildlife also lose their ability to find food on their own, because the think they will get fed by humans the same time every day. So please, don't feed the wildlife for your sake, and their sake.
